About this event

A one-day climbing festival run by the Mountain Club of Uganda at Clarke Quarry, the club's outdoor crag on Muyenga hill in Kampala, next to Clarke International University. Seasoned climbers and complete beginners were invited to climb together, with food stalls, games and local vendors around the quarry. The club also climbs at the quarry every Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday, so it is a good door into Uganda's small climbing scene.
