Second edition of Namibia's climbing festival, nine days at Spitzkoppe, the granite domes and towers rising out of the desert west of Windhoek. Climbers camp at the rest camp and spread across the sectors for long slab, crack and sport routes and bouldering, with spaced bolts and a strong adventure character. The programme adds a trad workshop and women-only clinics led by international climbers, a mountain rescue workshop, film nights and a community project.
Bring a full rack and a 60 m rope: many routes are long or multi-pitch. A shuttle runs from the tar road on the first and last day.
